Maestro PAOLO TAGLIAMENTO

Paolo Tagliamento is an internationally trained violinist, the first and only Italian winner of the Rodolfo Lipizer Prize International Violin Competition in Gorizia since 1982.
Graduating with honors and special mention at the age of 15 from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, he initially pursued advanced studies with Salvatore Accardo in Siena and Cremona, and subsequently with Ana Chumachenco in Madrid and Munich, where he earned a Master's degree in violin and a Master's degree in solo performance. He then completed his fifth degree at the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. In recent years, he has received the respect and artistic guidance of Uto Ughi.

His career has led him to perform in Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America with orchestras such as I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, I Solisti di Mosca, and Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Simón Bolívar di Caracas. He has performed concerts for the European Parliament and for numerous diplomatic missions and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world, actively contributing to the diffusion of Italian musical culture.

With guitarist Massimo Scattolin, they released their first live CD during an Australian tour. Together, they have performed in Italy and Germany, as well as other recordings, such as their "Tribute to Morricone" tour and "Homage to Venice."
Particularly significant is their partnership with Andrea Marcon, with whom they explore Baroque and Mozart repertoire, as well as a recording project dedicated to the complete Brahms Sonatas. In 2023, he was Artist in Residence at I Virtuosi Italiani and won Third Prize at the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition with the Trio Michelangeli. In 2024, he was invited as a soloist and teacher at El Sistema in Venezuela.
He was a permanent member of the renowned Residenz Solisten ensemble in Munich and is the artistic director of "Rencontres Musicales," an international chamber music festival held in the Conegliano area. He plays the beautiful Santo Serafino "Lachmann" (Venice 1740), previously played by Franco Gulli and on loan from the Pro Canale Foundation of Milan.
His career has been characterized by constant and profound interpretative and stylistic research, making him a significant figure in the contemporary music scene in Italy and abroad.

ANA CHUMACHENCO

She is an Argentine violinist of Russian origin, born in Padua, trained under the guidance of her father, a disciple of Leopold Auer, and great masters such as Ljerko Spiller, Szigeti, Vegh and Menuhin. Her talent has led her to international success, with victory at the C. Flesh Competition in London and a podium finish at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Alongside a brilliant career as a soloist and chamber musician, Ana Chumachenco has devoted decades to teaching at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, training world-renowned violinists. She is also a member of the juries of prestigious international competitions, including the Queen Elisabeth, the Sibelius and the Paganini.

Wen-Sinn Yang

He is one of the most influential figures in the world of the cello, enjoying a successful career as both a soloist and chamber musician. Winner of First Prize at the Geneva International Competition in 1991, Wen-Sinn Yang has performed at major European and Asian concert seasons and festivals, collaborating with orchestras such as the Bayerischer Rundfunk, NHK Tokyo, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Copenhagen Philharmonic, under the baton of conductors including Sir Colin Davis, Lorin Maazel and Mariss Jansons. His extensive repertoire is documented on over 30 CDs; since 2004 he has been a Professor at the Munich Academy of Music and Principal Cellist of the Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchestra.

Zohrab Tadevosyan

A violinist and teacher of Armenian origin, he studied with Levón Zoryán and his uncle Eduard Tadevosyan, a pupil of Leonid Kogan. He moved to Madrid in 2002 to study at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with Zakhar Bron and has been co-concertmaster of the Teatro Real Orchestra in Madrid since 2003. He teaches at renowned international violin courses and serves on the jury of prestigious competitions. He taught at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid from 2010 to 2020, as assistant to Ana Chumachenco.

Mamikon Nakhapetov

A Georgian pianist, he is one of the most acclaimed of his generation, having won numerous prizes at international competitions such as those in Tbilisi, St Petersburg, Yerevan and Warsaw. He studied at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire with Nodar Gabunia and Nana Khubutia, and subsequently furthered his training in Munich with Eliso Virsaladze and Helmut Deutsch. In addition to his concert career, he is currently an assistant professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.

Anna Mirakyan

Anna Mirakyan is a highly acclaimed pianist, renowned for her artistry and her dedication as an accompanist. She currently holds the important role of accompanist in the Violin Department of the prestigious Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where she works alongside the celebrated violinist and professor Christoph Poppen.

Massimo Scattolin

An Italian guitarist, he studied under Alirio Diaz and Andrés Segovia. Having made a brilliant name for himself in Europe, Australia and the Americas, he has received dedications from composers such as Andrea Morricone and Astor Piazzolla. He has collaborated with actors such as Cucciola and Gassman and was the first Italian guitarist to teach at the ‘Mozarteum’ in Salzburg. He has recorded over 50 CDs and collaborates with renowned international musicians. Recently, he has devoted himself to composition, with his works featured in television programmes in Italy and Australia.

Mohamed Hiber

Born in 1995 in Pantin, Paris, Mohamed Hiber is a soloist and highly sought-after concertmaster, known for his collaborations with Daniel Barenboim and Anne-Sophie Mutter. He is a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and the Mutter Virtuosi Ensemble. He has been invited as concertmaster by prestigious orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and has collaborated with conductors such as Zubin Mehta and András Schiff. He studied with Ana Chumachenco at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.

Mon-Fu Lee

Born in 1999, violinist Mon-Fu Lee Hsu is an emerging talent currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich under the guidance of the renowned Ana Chumachenco. Since the 2023 season, he has been a member of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Academy, performing regularly in the world’s most prestigious concert halls.

Laura Szabo

Born in 1993 in Baja, Hungary, Laura Szabo began studying the cello at the age of six. She studied at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Ivan Monighetti and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich with Wenn-Sin Yang. She has received numerous awards, including first prizes in international competitions. She has been co-principal cellist of the Tonkünstler Orchestra in Vienna since 2021 and has performed at international festivals such as the Super Cello Festival in Beijing. She plays an 1898 Riccardo Antoniazzi cello.

David Martin Gutiérrez

Born in 1995 in León, Spain, David Martin Gutiérrez studied at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Natalia Shakhovskaya and Ivan Monighetti, and at the Universität der Künste in Berlin with Jens Peter Maintz. He has won numerous prizes, including First Prize at the ‘Pedro Bote’ International Competition. He was a member of the Händel de Puertos del Estado string quartet with Paolo Tagliamento, performing concerts in Spain and Italy.

Raquel de Benito Forriol

Member of the Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid (Spain) since 2021, she
was born in Madrid in 1996. She studied at the Conservatorio Profesional Amaniel
and later at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with Professors Diemut
Poppen and Jonathan Brown, where she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s
degrees. She has received masterclasses from renowned musicians such as Tabea
Zimmermann, Nobuko Imai and the Casals Quartet, and has worked with conductors
including Pablo González, Andrés Orozco-Estrada and András Schiff.

Alfredo Zamarra

Alfredo Zamarra is one of Italy’s most respected and sought-after violists. After completing his studies at the Piacenza Conservatory with Claudio Pavolini, he furthered his training with internationally renowned teachers such as Salvatore Accardo, Alexander Lonquich, Fedor Druzinin, Piero Farulli, and Bruno Giuranna. For over twenty years, he was principal violist of the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, and collaborates regularly with the Orchestra and Philharmonic of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He has performed as a soloist with numerous Italian and international orchestras and boasts an intense chamber music activity with renowned musicians and groups, participating in international festivals. Since 2024, he has been Professor of Viola at the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory in Trento.
